Looking for somewhere to volunteer? Do you want to get involved in your community? Consider volunteering at the library. You’ll love working with our staff and our members while helping others in a variety of ways. Please note, that background checks are conducted on all volunteers 18 years and older, a valid email is required. Volunteer Opportunities
Adult Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities include making reminder phone calls to patrons, taking registration outside programs, staffing different daytime or nighttime programs, and other tasks as assigned.
ESL Volunteers
Would you like to help people from around the world learn English? We have opportunities for volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring, assist teachers in the classroom, and assist students in our ESL Lab.
High School Volunteers (Grades 9-12)
Earn volunteer credit for National Honor Society, 300 Club, or college scholarships. High school students serve as summer reading volunteers and work with the library on special projects and events. Volunteer opportunities are available for High School students for the school year. New volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation. Click here to schedule a volunteer orientation.
Court-ordered Community Service Hours
