Compatible Software
Inkscape is a free software which can be used to create files for the laser. You can also use another vector drawing program such as Adobe Illustrator.

Approved Materials
Materials cannot be larger than 12”x24”. Max cutting thickness is ⅜”. See our Suggested Vendors list.
- Acrylic
- Anodized aluminum (Etch only)
- Cork
- Glassware (Etch only)
- Mat board
- Most unfinished, single piece woods
Due to hazardous chemicals, the laser CANNOT be used on the following: materials with glues or resin, PVC, vinyl, plywood, genuine leather, pleather, fabrics, rubber stamps, bamboo, wood planks made of multiple pieces, wood cutting boards.

Free Weekly Supply List
Free supplies are available for ITPLD library members, as well as reciprocal members with cards in good standing. Members are limited to 2 items each week taken from the Supplies List. No items will be sold through the Launch Pad. The week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday.
Members are encouraged to bring their own materials if their project is larger than what weekly limits allow. Check out our Suggested Vendor List.
